Welcome to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania
Eastern District of Pennsylvania - Document Filing System (NextGen v1.8.2)
IMPORTANT ECF System Notification:In mid-May, the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO) will begin implementing Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) to enhance system security for Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) and Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER). MFA provides an added layer of security to accounts by helping protect against cyberattacks that steal passwords, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access. For attorneys who share their PACER accounts with support staff or paralegals, there is no need for the support staff or paralegals to request additional PACER accounts. Instead, please see the following recommendation from PACER: Filers and other users with CM/ECF-level access who share their accounts will be able to add up to five authentication apps. In other words, they can enroll up to four other users’ authentication apps in addition to their own. |
This is a restricted government website for official court business only. All activities of CM/ECF subscribers or users of this system for any purpose, and all access attempts, may be recorded and monitored by persons authorized by the federal judiciary for improper use, protection of system security, performance of maintenance and for appropriate management by the judiciary of its systems. By subscribing to CM/ECF, users expressly consent to system monitoring and to official access to data reviewed and created by them on the system. If evidence of unlawful activity is discovered, including unauthorized access attempts, it may be reported to law enforcement officials. |
